Harold Frazier

Harold Frazier

Harold Frazier, affectionately known as Bunny was born and raised in Colleton County. He is a proud 1995 graduate of Walterboro High School. At the tender age of nineteen, he graduated from Gupton Jones College of Funeral service. Post-graduation, he was fortunate to serve an apprenticeship at Mungo Funeral Home and Chapel under the leadership of his uncle, Ernest J. Mungo Jr. Mr. Mungo instilled in Harold, “It’s not the age of the business, but the service that it renders.” For the past ten years, Harold has been a practicing registered nurse with a specialty in cardiology, establishing a reputation for great empathy, compassion, and kindness. It was during this time, he was reminded that home is where the heart is. Harold has been presented with a unique opportunity to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming owner and operator of the family business. Life has taught him that there is nothing more expensive than a missed opportunity, that was lost because it’s dressed in overalls and looks like work. The scripture admonishes us to not despise the days of humble beginnings, which have helped mold Harold into the man he has become. As he pursues this business venture, it is with full intention to pay homage to his uncle Ernest J. Mungo Jr. by carrying on the family business. He will work hard and earn the community trust over time. Harold realizes that good things come to those who wait, but better things come to those who work for it. Harold is looking forward to picking up the baton and carrying on the legacy that came before him.
