The Obituary
Mr. Thomas James affectionately known as "Pee Wee" or "Mud Bone" was born on August 19, 1948 in White Hall, SC. He was a son of the late Mr. Wallace, Sr and Mary Wallace. Early in life, his parents moved to Yemassee, SC. He attended Fennell Elementary. During his formative years, the family moved to New York, where Thomas was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School.
After graduation, Pee Wee worked in Reverend Johnny's and Son restaurant for two years. Then he moved to New Jersey with his mother. He was gainfully employed with Food Fier Disturbution and Stater Construction. Pee Wee loved fishing and barbecuing. He also knew how to get down to sounds of James Brown.Thomas was married to Mrs. Barbara Harrell to this union one daughter was born Monisha "Nikki" James. Later in life, Pee Wee relocated to California where he worked for the San Francisco Housing Authority, until he retired.
He leaves to cherish his memories five daughters Michelle Richardson of Mt. Vernon, New York, Monisha James of Fort Myers, Florida, Lateefah Dozier, Newark, New Jersey, Shanta James of Richmond, California and a daughter in love Tameeka Woods of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Twelve grandchildren Mar'Kasia Byrd, Tar' Rence Griffin, Kyrie Edison-James, Nevaeh Varnado, Lateef Varnado, Aniya Richardson, Mikayla Richardson, TeAsia Richardson, Davonte Richardson, Destiny Rogers, DeShawn Woods and Kalauni Woods.
Three Great grandchildren Jahari Richardson, Janiyah Murray and Ta'Miyaa Jones.
Three brothers Lovett James, Abraham James and Arthur Glover. A dear friend and brother John (Linda) Terry, a bestfriend James Williams of California, a life time friend Pat Smith and a host of family members, relatives and friends.
One sister Thalda Bowens and three brothers, Wallace James Jr, Elijah James and David James.
