Stephen Southall II Obituary

Stephen Reginald Southall, II was born and raised in Walterboro, South Carolina. Stephen, the son of Stephen and Ollie Grant Southall I was born September 22, 1977. He completed his life's journey at his home on Friday March 26, 2021 and transitioned quietly into eternal rest.

He was affectionately known in the community as "Ditto Man" or "Ditt". He was always energetic, full of life and had to be seen. After graduating from Walterboro High School in 1995, he became employed with Dayco Industries of Walterboro, SC. Later, he became manager of Gerald's Tires in Charleston, SC. He was recently employed with Budget Tire in Walterboro, SC until his untimely demise. Stephen was passionate about his work. He could change a tired with his "eyes closed" He was definitely his family's "go-to" for any tire issues. He did not mind lending a helping hand. 

When it came to Stephen's family, he was very affectionate and always put family first. He was the father of four daughters, who were the highlight of his life. You could tell him nothing about his daughters.

In 2019, Stephen's life was transformed when he gave his life to Christ at New Covenant Fellowship Ministries.

Stephen was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Jacqueline Grant Kelly

Stephen Reginald Southall II leaves family and friends to cherish his memories, including four daughters, Kaylin Oladejo (Charles) of Jacksonville, NC, Shaylia Southall of Harris County, Ga, Kenya and Raven Southall of Walterboro, SC. His father Stephen Southall (Maria) of Douglasville, SC and mother Ollie Grant of Walterboro, SC. Six sisters Jamie Brice (Albert) of Greensboro, NC, Kimberly McCall (Jonathan) of Augusta, GA, Shaka Thompson (Lorenzo) of Grovetown, GA, Shakima Stephens (Edward) of Green Pond, SC. Stephanie and Stevie Southall of Douglasville, GA. Five aunts Annie Lingard, Jeannette Smith, Brenda Washington, Carolyn Southall and Angela Grant. Four uncles, Elder Ralph Grant, Walter T. Southall, Marion Lingard and Thomas Washington. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins including four special cousins Ralph C. Grant, Alvin Lewis, Sherrod Nixon and Mark McMillon and four special friends Harold "Bunny" Frazier, Jr. Pastor Kenniard Lee and Quincy "Buck-a-luck"
