Sigmon Nimmons Jr.

Sigmon Nimmons Jr was born on July 27, 1970 in Bamberg, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2025 at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Sigmon was the loved and cherish son of Mr. Sigmon Nimmons Sr and Barbara Robinson Nimmons. Sigmon was the oldest of two siblings.

Sigmon was educated in the Denmark, SC public school system and a proud graduate of Denmark-Olar High School. After high school Sigmon joined the US Navy and became a submariner throughout his Naval Career. Once leaving the Navy Sigmon began his career as a machinist and began working at Robert Bosch and remained there until health issues prevented him from working.

Sigmon was proceeded in death by his daughter Tradonya Nimmons and grandson Travion Waddell. Uncles Herbert Nelson and Marion Robinson.

Sigmon was a deeply committed father, family man and friend who was always there to help when needed. In 2003 Sigmon married his soulmate Arlethia L Robinson. Their 21-year union was one filed with love and deep dedication to God, each other and family.

Sigmon leaves to cherish in his memories is loving wife Arlethia R Nimmons. Children: Quandaria Robinson, Sigmeonte Nimmons, Nyla Nimmons, Houston Bryant, Terrance Bryant, Octavius Robinson, Demetrius Robinson and a bonus son Micheal Weeks. Mother: Barbara Robinson Nimmons. Father: Sigmon Nimmons Sr. Siblings: Synovia Nimmons- Bias (Nelson) and Vasean Nimmons. Grandchildren: Brooklen Bryant, Harlem Bryant. Autumn Edwards, Ka’Mydra Singleton, Keiondra Edwards. Octavious Robinson Jr. Tavion Robinson, Madison Robinson, Kymir Robinson, Jacade Robinson, Justice Robinson and Serenity Bunting, A’Korianna Grant and Kemani Singleton. Uncles: George Burke (Connie), Charles Robinson (Daisy), Isaac Robinson (Sweet Ree), Jabob Robinson (Gloria Jean), Ulysees Robinson (Claretha), Otis Robinson (Angela), Johnny Green (Debra), Micheal Robinson, Damien Robinson. and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
