Robert Lee Griffin

Life Reflections:

Robert Lee Griffin was born on February 4, 1950 in Walterboro, SC. He entered into enteral rest on May 11, 2025 at the Resort’s at Beaufort LLC in Beaufort, South Carolina. Robert was the son of the late Joe Ralph and Ruth Ella Griffin.

Robert was educated in the Colleton County public school system. He was employed at CCX for 12 years. Robert then moved to Beaufort, SC and he remained there until his passing. He was known for his love of music, walking and his kindness. Robert would give you the shirt off his back.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Joe Ralph and Ruth Ella Griffin, one sister and seven brothers.

He leaves to cherish in this memories three sisters, JoAnn Hodges, Linda Griffin and Brenda Washington. Dedicated friend Miss Evelena Wright whom he called “momma” also known as “Miss Bird”. Robert always looked up to her any time of day or night and she was always there for him. Rev Dr. Micheal A Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
