Robert Daniels, Sr. Obituary

Robert Daniels Sr., the second eldest born to the late James and Annie Pearl Daniels, was born on March 12, 1951 in Colleton County. After living the promise of God plus one year and one month of grace, Robert departed this earth on April 12, 2022 surrounded by his caring family.

Robert attended the schools of Colleton County and graduated from Ruffin High School. At an early age, Robert joined Springtown United Methodist Church, where he faithfully attended until the pandemic stopped in-service worship and later his health failed.  In March 1970, Robert met and married Revonica Danford Daniels and to this union a beautiful family was created. Robert joined the United States Army later in 1970. He served in Vietnam and ranked E4 Specialist (SPC). On November 17, 1973, Robert was honorably discharged from service. Upon returning home, Robert worked for the Asten-Hill Manufacturing Company. Robert was a great baseball player, master hunter, fisherman, and grill cook. Robert was also the best cleaner and master of yard maintenance. It was often stated by many that, “his yard was so clean, you could eat off the grass.”
