Ricky Lee Gadson

The Obituary 

Ricky Lee Gadson was born on January 30, 1958 the oldest son of the late Luther Harrison Gadson and Thelma Polite Gadson.
Ricky was educated in the Colleton County School District where he graduated from Walterboro High School.  He was employed with HG Reynolds for many years before he retired.  Ricky had a heart of gold, always willing to help those in need.  Ricky was always a sharp dresser, when he stepped out, he was always on point.  Whenever you encounter him, he had a smile and a hug for you.  Ricky was a great father to his children, grandfather, and he was an awesome brother to his siblings.  He loved his family!

Ricky was a faithful member at Faith Church, for many years, where his Pastor is Daryl Hunt.

Ricky was married to the late Darlene Manigo Gadson, to that union God gave them five wonderful children, that he loved with all his heart.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his sons Rick Gadson (Chante) of Kissimmee, FL, Joshua Gadson (Shae) of North Charleston, SC, Jamar Gadson of Kissimmee, FL, his daughters Danielle Gadson and Amanda Gadson of Walterboro, SC.  Five grandchildren, Quantasha, Kapri, Tyriek,Te’ira, and Neveah. Two uncles Reverend Prince Polite (Samuela), and Stanley Polite. Two aunties Ruthann Shider (O’Harold), Geraldine Bassett. Godmother Helen Gant, three brother’s in-law, Willis Manigo, (Brenda), Randy 
Manigo, Roscoe Manigo and two sister’s in-law, Marie Harrison (Randall), & Rhoda 
Manigo.  
A special friend Yvonne Jefferson, an honorary son Darius Jefferson and an honorary grandson Weston Jefferson, his wonderful nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
