Time to be Born: On July 6th, 1947, in Queens, New York . A daughter of the late Mr. Robert and Emily Donaldson was blessed with beautiful baby girl. They named her Miriam Lucillle Donaldson.
A Time to Live: Miriam was educated in Colleton County School district. She graduated from Colleton High School Class of 1965.
Time to Love: In 1972 Miriam was united in holy matrimony to Mr. George Chapman. To this union two sons were born. One of her proudest accomplishments in her life was being a loving mother. Miriam had three sons. Kevin Carlyle Chapman and George Chapman Jr. One son Steve Tyron Donaldson (preceded her in death)
A Time to Rejoice: Miriam loved the Lord. She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was a member of St. Peters A.M.E. under the leadership of Rev. Leon Maxwell. Miriam was a lifetime member from 1947-2023 where she served in many organizations which included an Usher, she sang in the Choir and Kitchen Ministries.
Miriam was a very hard working mother, caregiver to her mother, grandmother, brother and children. She also worked at the Veer Plant for years, as a cook for fast food restaurants, gas stations and a cafe until her health started to fail.
A Time to Mourn: Miriam leaves to cherish her memories, her two loving sons, Kevin Chapman and George Chapman Jr., of Walterboro, SC. Grandchildren Tyrone Donaldson, Rashaan Donaldson, Sr., Alysha Diggs Chapman, Kelvin Diggs Chapman, Nautica Bowen. Great grandchildren Royalty Donaldson, Rashaan Donaldson Jr, Raeona Galore Donaldson, Ta’ Jon Brown, Ta’Naylah Brown, Liam Diggs, Landon Diggs. A daughter in law Sabena Donaldson, sister in law Lillian (Larry) Edge, Brother in law Ernest (Sandra) Chapman, Walterboro, South Carolina, Two Aunts Dorothy Jones of Jacksonville, Florida and Carolyn B. Winn of Walterboro, SC. One Uncle Willie Stark of Walterboro, SC. A special daughter Loretta Williams and two special friends Dorothy Robinson and Frances Whittington. She leaves a host of other family members, relatives and friends.
