Maurice Edwards

Mr. Maurice Vincent Edwards was the son of the late Thomas Edwards Jr. and the Carrie L. Gruber Edwards. He was born on September 23, 1975 and entered enteral rest of December 7, 2024. At an early age, Maurice joined Oakman Branch Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized.

Mr. Edwards graduated from Walterboro High School in the Class of 1993. While studying at Trident Technical College, he worked at Circuit City in sales and as a delivery driver. After closing he worked at Boeing as supply representative until his health begin to decline.

Maurice was the biggest fan of the Washington Commanders formerly known as the Washington Redskins, since he was small in elementary school. He knew all the players and all their stats. He would always talk of how it was their year to go to the Super Bowl. In the off season he was talk about the draft and the upcoming preseason.

On December 7th, 2024, God sent an angel to whisper in his ear, “Come, Lets go home.

Maurice leaves to cherish many sweet memories by is only son Tyresse La-Sheen. Three aunts Brenda Stephens (Nathaniel) of Smoaks, SC; Rosa Lee Ford (Robert) of Walterboro, SC; and Marilyn Salley of Smoaks, SC and host of cousins and extended family.
