Mr. Liston Bryant, son of the late Romie and Ella Mae Bryant was born on March 19, 1962 in Ruffin, South Carolina. On the morning of Tuesday June 25, 024, at his residence, he peacefully transitioned to his eternal home.
"Lit" and "Wolf" as he was nicknamed by many, was reared and lived in Ruffin, South Carolina and was well known by many in the community. He is best remembered circulating the neighborhood on his bicycle, speaking to everyone he came in contact with.
He was educated through the public school system of Colleton County and at an early age became a member of Hunters Chapel Baptist Church in Ruffin, SC. Liston held various jobs throughout his life; he was employed with Warren Lumber Company in Williams, SC, but found his passion working with Tuckers Lawn Care Service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Romie and Ella Mae Bryant, one brother Dea. Henry Bryant, his sisters Virginia Stephens and Fannie Mae Aiken.
He leaves to cherish his life and memories his siblings; Romie Lee Bryant and Nathaniel Bryant both on Trenton, N.J.; Jeff Bryant of Williston, F.L. John Duncan (Joan) Bryant, Dea. Jerry (Lillie) Bryant and Johnny Bryant all of Ruffin, S.C. Linda (William) Graham of Columbia, S.C. Elouise (Oliver) Carnegie and Lillie Ruth Law of Williston F.L. A special friend Cornell Nixon of Walterboro, S.C.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
