Mr. Levi Legree Youngblood, the son of the late Levi Youngblood and the late Bertha Blue Youngblood was born August 13, 1960 in Walterboro, SC. He was educated in the public school system of Colleton County.
Levi joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Walterboro, SC under the leadership of Rev. Isaiah Bussey and later on joined H.R.B. Deliverance Center of Ruffin, SC under the leadership of Pastor Howard Broughton.
As a young man Levi learned the value of hard work and acquired many skills such as a plant employee, a electrician, a mechanic, plants and irrigation schematics specialist as well as taking on the role of a “Father” figure to his younger brothers and sister when his mother had to take various jobs to support the family. Levi even fancied himself as a real life comedian as well lol.
On Saturday March 28, 2020, Brother Levi bid this world farewell to enter his home in glory. Preceding him in death was his father Levi Youngblood and mother Bertha Blue Youngblood.
He leaves his children to cherish his memories: Chad (Ebone) Jenkins of Durham, NC, Dominique Jenkins (JB), Joey Jenkins and Jermaine (Sonya) Jenkins of Walterboro, SC, Kristie Williams of Charlotte, NC, Jason Holiday of Sumpter, SC. Ten grandchildren: Quinzia Jenkins, Elijah Jenkins, Sade Jenkins, Sherelle Meminger, Tyreek Nesbitt, Jermaine Jenkins, Jr. Zihylique Williams, Divinity Williams, Tayari Williams, Armani Hunt: Three great grandchildren: Zion Nesbitt, King Johnson, Kwen Johnson. Three brothers: Terry Youngblood and Donald Youngblood of Walterboro, SC and Eldonis (Angeleac) Youngblood of Summerville, SC. One sister: Angela Youngblood and Kit Youngblood who was raised in the home as a brother; A life long friend Virginia S. Jenkins and a special friend LaTanya Smiley, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews as well other relatives and friends
