On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Justin T. Farmer, Sr. entered into eternal rest at the age of 41. He was born in Walterboro, SC on October 31, 1979. He was a dedicated Christian, father, and friend to many. He was affectionately known as “Bubba” as a child, and later renamed himself “JT” to match his deeper, mature voice. With that new voice, he would perfect the sermons of his childhood ministers. It was only natural that he became “Rev.” as well. Justin devoted his life to serving the Lord, raising his sons, and helping anyone he could in his community.
Justin’s education began in Walterboro, SC. He graduated from Richland Northeast High School (1997) with a football scholarship that led him to Appalachian State University (1997-2000; Mountaineers). His pursuit of Christ would later lead him to Virginia Theological Seminary and Liberty University.
His employment included Funeral Services, U-Haul General Management, Adjunct Professor for Michigan Technological University College of Arts and Sciences, and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, to name a few.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Reverend Emma C. Farmer and grandfathers Leroy Crosby, and Herman H. Farmer.
He leaves to mourn, his sons, Justin Farmer, Jr. and Jaiden Farmer and their mother C. Lloyd of Columbia, SC
