Julie "Vicki" Glover

Julie Victora Glover who was affectionately known as “Vicki”, “Judge Julie” or “Spookie” was born March 5, 1969 in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late Thomas and Earnestine Glover. Vicki was raised to cherish family and to love God. After a courageous battle with injuries from a vehicle accident, Vicki passed away peacefully at Lowcountry Hospice House on Wednesday, June 19, 2024  

Vicki was raised in the home of her grandparents, the late Ernest and Dornitha Risher. Vicki received her formal education at Ruffin High School, Ruffin, South Carolina. Sheworked various jobs but the most fulfilling job she ever had was as a Home Health Aide. She loved providing love, care and support to her patients. 

Vicki joined Lovely Hill Baptist Church and accepted the Lord at an early age. She later joined Bethel United Methodist Church and continued to love and serve God. Vicki loved going to church, helping others, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved herfamily and was a very devoted friend. Vicki touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor and smart mouth until the end. 

She leaves to cherish her loving, precious memories, one daughter, Jordan Brown, of Smoaks, SC, and three sons, Timothy Pressey and Shemar Brown, of Smoaks, SC, and Tyrese Pressey of Aiken, SC. Two sisters Sylvia Mitchell of Smoaks, SC, and Bessie Glover of Tennessee. Four brothers, Ernest (Tara) Glover, Smoaks, SC, and Clayton Glover (Lizzette) Glover of Piedras Negras, Mexico, Bradford Glover of Las Vegas, Nevada, Stadford Glover of Reno, Nevada. Her most treasured grandchildren, Aiden Brown, Kyrie Brown, and McKenna Pressey. One aunt, Porsha Risher, Petersburg, VA, Three uncles, and Michael Reid of Charleston, SC. One great-aunt, Cornelia Martin, of Walterboro, SC, and a special cousin referred to as an aunt, Silvia Simmons, of Orangeburg, SC. A special friend, Robert Wiggins, of Walterboro, SC, four nephews, Jaques Glover and Keion Glover, of Smoaks, SC and Markese Glover and Davon Glover of San Antonio, TX, and countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her.
