James Edward Britt

Mr. James Edward Britt, the son of the late James Britt and Lala Britt was born December 5, 1946 in Dorchester County. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC. At an early age, James attended Williams Memorial Elementary School and was a graduate of St. George High School. After graduation he became the owner operator of Britt Logging Company. He was married to the late Linda Sue Martino Britt of St. George, South Carolina. 

James had two sisters who preceded him in death, Bernice Mack and Barbara Britt

He leaves to cherish his memories five children;: James Allen (Latonya) Britt of Walterboro, SC, Robert (Vialetta) Britt of St. George, SC, Lisa Britt of Reevesville, SC, Brian E. Rivers of Walterboro, SC and Florinda Britt of St. George, SC; three sisters: Ruth (the late Jimmy) Chisolm of Wyandanch, NY Deloris B. Lewis and Elase B. Fox both of Reevesville, SC. his mother-in-law: Dorothy Martin of Jamaica, NY and very special friends Reverend Roy Knight, Lamar (Doris) Penick and Vickie Penick of Walterboro, SC
