Hattie Mae Washington

Hattie Mae Washington was born on October 13, 1934 in Smoaks, SC. She transitioned from this early home to her heavenly home on October 3, 2019. She was a employee of the Colleton County School District for 30 years. She always had a kind spirit and had a loving word to share.

She was preceded in death by a loving husband, Charlie Washington, Sr. sisters: Ella Mae Cochran & Mildred Sykes; son, Charles Washington, Jr; daughter, Joan Frazier; two grandsons, Jake Frazier, III and Jacobi Washington, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons David Washington and Larry Washington of Walterboro, SC, three daughters, Carrie Washington, of Ocala, GA, Mary Brown of Walterboro, SC and Linda (Eric) Brown of Marion, SC one sister Judy Seabrook, SC and one brother in law of Walter Cochran. Her grandchildren: Sherron (Herman) Glover, Eric (Marquita) Washington, Mark Frazier, Corinthian (Ebony) Washington, Hattie (Anthony) Lisbon, Tywan, Yates, Eric Brown, Jr. Erica Brown, David Washington, Jr., Keron (Donyelle) Taylor, Derek Brown and Kari (Hernandez) Brown, a close family friend Tiffany Glover Luck, a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and other relatives friends

Celebration of life services were held on 11:00am  Saturday October 12, 2019 Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Round O, SC The Reverend Charles Miles, pastor Interment: Church Cemetery
