Georgianna Ella Green

Our community has sadly lost an important member on July 28,2022, Georgianna Ella Green was the heart and soul of Colleton County Bus Community and Walterboro, SC. She endured a lot and danced a good dance everywhere she went. She will leave a big gap in our community and will be sorely missed. Georgianna was affectionately known as mama Lou by all who knew her. Born Georgianna Ella Redish, later became Mrs. Georgianna Ella Green when she married the late Mr. Willie Robert Green.

She is survived by her eight children; Shirley Station, Louise Pinckney, Robert Green, Willie Green, Phillip Green, Jimmy Green (Terri), David Green, and Annie Mae Griffin. A host of grandkids and great grand kids. She served as a school bus driver for Colleton County for over 20 years. She was a minister at Calvery Baptist Church in Round-O, SC. Mama Lou will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Please keep the Green family in your prayers.
