Mrs. Frances S. Harrison was born on September 5, 1939 in Walterboro, SC to the late Frank and Essie W. Simmons. On Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 7:05am at her residence. God called her home from her work on earth was done and her reward was eternal life.
Frances attended public schools of Colleton County. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church. At a early age, she was member of the choir then became apart of the deaconess board.
Frances was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Silas Harrison on January 30 1956. To this union six children were born. Frances was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was caring, kind, giving person who did not put up with any foolishness. She was a friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Terri Harrison, three brothers Earnest Brown, Sam Simmons and Governor Simmons.
She leaves to cherish her life of dedication and love two daughters Inez H. Pierce (Oliver) and Minthalee H. Stephens ( Lashan) of Walterboro, SC. Three sons Leroy Harrison (Jenny) of Sequim, Washington, Silas Harrison, Jr. (Kendryl) of Charlotte, NC and Bobby Harrison of Beech Grove, Tennessee. Two sisters Rosa Mitchell of Rankin, Georgia and Zallie Lee (Charles) of North Charleston, SC. Fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
