Fitzgerald Kennedy Campbell departed this earthly life on Monday August 4, 2025 at the age of 61 in Lawton Oklahoma. Fitzgerald was bornon June 20, 1964 to the late Reverend Bennie L. Campbell, and Margaret Bodison Campbell In Walterboro South Carolina.
Fitzgerald graduated from Walterboro High School, Walterboro SC in 1982. After graduating he pursued a military career and joined the US Army. He served a total of 15 years in the US Army before he was discharged.
Fitzgerald's passion for traveling and driving took him around theworld as a licensed CDL truck driver for many years. After his truck driving career ended he settled in Lawton Oklahoma. During the course of yearsthere he became employed at Good Year, Silver line Plastic, and Southern Food.
Fitzgerald leaves to cherish his memory,his two sons Devante K.(Janelle), Campbell (Shannon)of El Paso TX; Marcus K. Campbell (Patricia) of Franklin TN. His sisters Gloria (Julius Sr.)Nelson, Verteener (Herbert) Cochran both of Round O SC. Grandchildren Kota Campbell, and Takai Campbell of TX. Aunts; Vernetha (Joe) Matthew, of Miami FL, Ann Bodison of Round O SC, Helen Bodison of Waterboro SC, Melvenia Simpson of Augusta GA. Uncles; Gus Bodison of Round O SC, Samuel Bodison of Winter Haven FL.His two loving nieces Shawday and Shakeria. His nephews Aton, LeAndre, Julius Jr, Quintron, and Jamile.
