Emory "Geech" Nesbitt Jr.

Emory Nesbitt, Jr. was born on April 2, 1953 in Cottageville, South Carolina. He was educated in Colleton County schools.  Emory worked in  manufacturing and for himself as a mechanic.

Emory Nesbitt, Jr. (Geech) passed away at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 69.

 Emory Jr is preceded by his parents Emory, Sr. and Nellie Elizabeth Nesbitt, his son Tyre Veney, his daughter April Singletary and his brothers, Lewis Nesbitt, Franklin Nesbitt, Harold Nesbitt, Ricky Nesbitt, Elijah Nesbitt, and Rufus Nesbitt.

Emory Jr (Geech) is lovingly remembered by his aunt Thomasina Johnson:  His brothers Leon (Kaye) Nesbitt of Walterboro South Carolina, Jerome J (Pamela) North of Youngsville North Carolina: sisters Ethel Nesbitt-Sessoms, Lucinda (Preston) Jones, Linda (Christopher) Atkinson all of Raleigh North Carolina: Daughter Joy Singletaryof Boston MA: Son Michael Veney: Sixteen Grand children including Grandsons Anthony and Israel Singletary and Two Great Grands: A Host of nieces and nephews and a special niece Lisa AvantBarbosa of Boston: Three lifelong special friends, Robert of Boston, MA and Sam and Tomas Daily of South Carolina.
