Celebration of Life for Dedranay Yvette Nelson ; affectionately known as "Dedra."
Dedranay departed this life on July 16, 2025 in Rocky Mount North Carolina. Born on April 13, 1983 in Dorchester County, SC, to the Late Mr. Jimmy Nelson and Mrs.Gloria Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Mr. Jimmy Nelson Jr.
Dedra was a beloved daughter, sister, neice, aunt, mother, and friend. She was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family—especially her two children, Benjamin and Holly, who were the light of her life.
Dedra was know for the beautiful crocheting pieces she created, cooking, and listening to music.
Dedra dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, always putting others before herself. Whether it was through her friendships or her role as a mother, she brought compassion and warmth to every space she entered. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was a comfort to all who knew her. Dedra was educated in Dorchester County School District graduating Summerville High School in 2002.
She is survived by her children, Benjamin Williams and Holly Williams of Jacksonville, NC ; brother, Aaron Nelson; of Summerville, SC, her nephew, Aaron Nelson Jr.; devoted friend.
