DeVarn Chinique Brown, the daughter of Rosa L. Brown and the late Jerry Williams was born September 7, 1981 in Walterboro, South Carolina.
DeVarn at an early age moved to Newberry South Carolina and remained there throughout her adult life. She was educated in the public schools of Newberry County. She loved God and faithfully served her church which included singing on the church’s choir. DeVarn never met a stranger. She was a loving and caring person. Through the years she was employed with a nursing home and a local mattress company in Newberry. DeVarn’s hobbies were shopping, cooking and watching football. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, helping people, and caring for the sick.
On Sunday January 15, 2023, DeVarn took flight and transitioned to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Williams.

Butler of Rowesville, South Carolina and Rosalie Williams
