Christy Johnson Tanner

Christy Marie Johnson Tanner was born on January 23, 1983, in Charleston, SC. She departed her earthly life on December 1, 2023 at The Medical University Of South Carolina. 

Christy attended Catholic schools in Charleston, SC and started working at an early age. She worked for several different companies throughout the years ranging from Boating manufacturing, convenience store operators and most recently fast food. 

Christy met the love of her life (Salvador) in 2008, in Summerville, SC and the next 15 years was history. She and Salvador relocated to Colleton County, He was her Teddy Bear as she affectionately called him and to (Teddy Bear) Salvador, she was his world. God blessed the two of them with precious Caleigh, as she is her moms and dads babygirl. 

The love Christy had for caring for her “Teddy Bear” and Caleigh was unmeasured. She enjoyed singing, dressing up, doing her makeup and cooking for her family. 

Left to Cherish her fond memories are her “Teddy Bear” Salvador Rojas, babygirl Caleigh Rojas, son Patrick, daughter Sophie, mother Lisa, brothers- Ronnie, Squeeky, Josh and Alen. Brother in law Efrain and great lifelong friend Freddie.
