Mr. Charles MacArthur Manigo, son of the late Mr. Robert Bob Manigo and Mrs. Sarah Pinkney Manigo, was born on September 13, 1950. He entered his eternal rest on December 27, 2024.
Charles attended the Colleton County public schools. He was married to Geraldine P. Bassett for 32 years. Unto this union they had three children.
Charles joined Aimwell Presbyterian Church in 2018 under the leadership of Reverend Perry D. Griffin. He left Walterboro, SC at an early age to reside in New York and New Jersey to provide for his family. There he learned the craftsmanship of brick masonry. He returned to SC and worked for Robbie Brown at Brown Construction LLC where he laid bricks. His health began to fail in 2022. However, he completed radiation and went back to being Buster.
He was a very loving and caring person who never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was a quiet and humble soldier. He was not a man of many words, but his smile was worth millions. He was not the author of confusion but the author of love. He loved God and enjoyed working around the house and yard. He enjoyed going thrifting with Nathan "Black Pearl" Pinckney.
Proceeding him in death two brothers Franklin Manigo and Robert Manigo Jr and one sister Louise Littlefield.
He leaves to cherish in his memories one daughter Rita Manigo Yates Walterboro SC. Two sons Randall Manigo (Lilly) Djibouti Africa, Charles G. Manigo (Jessica) Charleston SC. Two sisters Linette Manigo Patterson NJ, Viola Pringle Walterboro SC. One sister in love, Audrey Manigo Pasadena CA. Children’s mother, Geraldine P. Bassett. Best friend Nathan Pinckney Walterboro SC. Thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
