Brantley Donaldson was born on June 10, 1949 in Colleton County, South Carolina . He was the oldest son of the Late Mr Robert and Mrs Emily Donaldson. July 16, 2023 he peacefully entered into eternal life.
At an early age, Brantley attended St. Peters A.M.E in Walterboro, South Carolina. As he grew
older, he became a member of St. Peters followed in his family footprints.
Brantley was a graduate of Colleton High School, Class of 1967. After high school,he went into the United State Army, where he served in the Vietnam War. Unfortunately Brantley was
diagnosed with Agent Orange. After an honorable discharge, he returned to Walterboro, South Carolina and stayed for a short time with his mother and other family members. He later moved to San Francisco, California with his uncle Louis and Aunt Carollyn Winn.In San Francisco, where
Brantley thrived. He was attending Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, working and doing
well for himself. He was able to obtain his own apartment and lived with his girlfriend for over
two years. He then ventured out on his own, losing contact with his family.
He was preceded in death by sibling Miriam Chapman and Timothy Donaldson
Brantley leaves to cherish his memories two nephews Kelvin Chapman and Geroge Chapman
Jr., Aunts, Dorothy Jones Jacksonville, Florida, Carloyn B. Winn Walterboro, South Carolina. Uncle Willie Stark of Walterboro, SC. A host of cousin, relatives family members and friends.
