The Obituary

Avery Michael Wright, affectionatelly known as "Ave" or "Mr. Greg", passed away into the Lord's arms on August 9, 2024 in Charleston, South Carolina at the tender age of 12 years old. Avery was born on March 18, 2012. He was the son of Deja Wright and the wonderful brother of Serenity Wright, Kailey Adams, Journey Adams, Lennox Wright and Legacy Adams

Avery was heading into the 7th grade with wonderful grades and an energetic personality. Avery had a heart of gold and was so kind and caring to his siblings. His smile and dimples would light up a room. Avery was well loved by his teachers, family and friends. He was known for his compassion and courageous energy. Avery left a lasting impact on everyone that he met. He was such a sweet boy and will never be forgotten. His heart was filled with so much love and he will resonate in our hearts forever and ever.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother Deja Wright, his stepfather Rahem Adams, two brothers Lennox Wright and Legacy Adams, Three sisters' Serenity Wright, Kailey Adams and Journey Adams. His grandparents: Greg (Brenda Said) Wright and Margaret Carr, his great grandmother Ella Mae Wright, two Aunts Jayla Carr and Peyton wright and one Uncle Kayden Wright, a host of other relatives and friends.
